Notebook of James Griffyth Fairfax [manuscript]. 1907-1909.

Vellum notebook containing 62 pages of manuscript poems which were written in letters to Fairfax's friend and mentor, Eva Fowler. Her literary salon at Oxford was a famous gathering place for young literary stars, including Yeats and Pound. Fowler clipped the poems from Fairfax's letters and pasted them into this notebook.
